Will Neel is a Player, Instructor, Coach, Inventor, Entrepreneur, Golf Manufacturer & Grandfather.
Will has had over 30 years of full-time teaching experience working with elite junior players and their families, helping them to develop their talent and to navigate the testy waters of collegiate and professional golf.
His experience includes serving as an Associate Instructor with the first ever David Leadbetter Golf Academy at Lake Nona Golf Club from 1990 to 1996, and became the Director of Junior Golf Instruction, and was instrumental in forming the first ever David Leadbetter Junior Golf Academy in Bradenton Florida, now known as the IMG Sports Academy.
In 1996 he cofounded the Will Neel Golf Academy in Plantation Florida, and Los Angeles California - along with lifetime PGA Members Joe Vogel and PGA Master Professional Joel Suggs and Edwin Gregory & Phil Lamb. Together they formed “Hope for Kids Golf” that served over 800 at risk children in Ft Lauderdale Florida and Pomona California.
His highlights were working with Charles Howell III from ages 12-17, and caddying for him in 1996 US Amateur at Pumpkin Ridge against Tiger Woods in the Quarterfinals.
Also attending 2013 Masters with his long-time student and best friend's son TJ Vogel, where he was able to play an exclusive practice round the Sunday before the Tournament with Tiger Woods and Steve Stricker.
And most recently to see two former students John Spaun and TJ Vogel win a PGA Tour Event and Korn Ferry Event on the same day.
Will is the founder and current owner of WILLGOLFBETTER and the Christian Golf Leadership Camp, located now in Mesa, Arizona. Will recently moved to Tempe Arizona, where he can be close to his granddaughter.
